That is really cool! I've gotten very close to the deer in cades cove but I've never been close enough to touch one!
I agree, Old Sugarlands has a lot of history, as does Kephart. Middle Prong trail, over by Tremont, was a historic area also, site of a string-town and the old Tremont Hotel. And yes, Old Settlers goes by many old walls, some chimneys, and graveyard…
